University Policy 4.17, Whistleblower Protection, is now an interim policy. It has been updated to align with revisions to New York State Labor Law 740.

University Policy 6.2.1, Leaves for Professors and Academic Staff, was revised with December 31 (instead of October 15) as the date when leave balances that exceed the maximum accumulation are automatically adjusted to the appropriate maximum. Also, the concept of an "accrual year" and the associated dates was removed.

University Policy 8.8, Children and Youth Safety, was revised to be titled Children and Youth Safety. Previously the title was Minors at Cornell University. References to “children and youth” were incorporated alongside “minors”. These changes were made to better distinguish this use of “minors” from the academic study meaning.

University Policy 6.9, Vacation (Excluding Academic and Bargaining-Unit Staff), was revised with December 31 as the date when leave balances that exceed the maximum accumulation are automatically adjusted to the appropriate maximum. Previously that date was October 15.

University Policy 6.13, Disability Accommodation Process for Faculty and Staff, and University Policy 6.13.8, Religious Accommodation, were revised to clarify the COVID-19 exemption process and update office names.

University Policy 6.13, Disability Accommodation Process for Faculty and Staff, and University Policy 6.13.8, Religious Accommodation, were revised with procedures for employee requests for exemptions from COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

University Policy 5.12, Web Accessibility Standards, was revised to update the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The policy now specifies "most recently published guidelines."

University Policy 3.14, Business Expenses, was revised to emphasize the prudent use of university funds.

University Policy 1.2, Research Integrity, was renamed to more clearly indicate that the policy scope is research misconduct (former policy name was "Academic Misconduct"). The policy was revised to align with federal procedures, requirements, and definitions, and with Weill Cornell Medicine campus policies. A preliminary allegation assessment stage and confidentiality clauses were added. Roles, responsibilities, and processes for assessment and inquiry, investigation, decision, and appeal were clarified. The role of Research Integrity Officer was defined.

University Policy 3.1, University Fundraising, was transferred to the new policy template. Revisions were made to increase the clarity and detail in gift acceptance practices, naming practices, anonymity, and restrictions on involvement of development officers and donors in specified aspects of university work. The content was reorganized to improve ease of use for external (donors and prospective donors) and internal (staff) audiences
