Policy Change Requests

To initiate the creation or revision of a university policy, send an email to policy@cornell.edu using the following template:

Dear University Compliance team, 

I have been authorized by the Responsible Office [insert name of Responsible Office] to request a consultation to discuss (choose one):

  • development of a new policy [insert proposed policy title or topic]

  • major revisions to University Policy [Insert Policy # and Title]

  • minor housekeeping revisions to University Policy [Insert Policy # and Title]
